About Us

The Aldrich Law Office, PC, is a boutique law firm specializing in construction defect and related litigation in Oregon and Southwest Washington. Our team of attorneys—Dean E. Aldrich, Kevin A. Eike, Christopher C. Grady, Molly Allison and Todd M. Peck—have an extensive background and expertise in construction law and litigation. In addition, Dean Aldrich, who founded the firm in 2000, holds an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering and has several years real world experience in the construction industry. He is also an AV rated attorney in the Martindale-Hubbell legal directory.

A highly-qualified group of paralegals—Joanna Cherry and Laurie Osborn—and staff—Deanna Healy, Sue Luck, Kay Syravong and Rick Tessensohn—round-out the team. Our Firm Administrator is Cheryl Wunder.

We represent property owners ( businesses, associations, and individuals), developers, contractors, subcontractors, architects, and suppliers with regard to the enforcement of contractual and common law responsibilities.

Though our clientele come from all sides of construction claims, the Aldrich Law Office specializes in representing owners in their claims against contractors, developers, design professionals, bonding companies, and insurance groups. These claims typically involve performance issues and construction defects in a variety of properties: condominiums and townhomes, apartments, as well as commercial buildings, schools, clinics, hotels, casinos, resort properties and single-family residences. Costs and damages tend to range anywhere from $50,000 to over $15,000,000. In conjunction with our main focus, we also represent contractors, suppliers, and developers with regard to insurance coverage, and payment/performance claims. Finally, and importantly, we assist our clients with all aspects of contract negotiations.

Since its inception, Aldrich Law has recovered over $85,000,000 in settlements and awards for its clients in both state and federal courts, as well as arbitrations. We are proud of our work, proud of our team, and, most importantly, proud of our clientele.
